We’ve been attending WordCamps in Toronto, Vancouver and Victoria for years. This is our 5th year attending the well organized and well attended Victoria WordCamp organized by Paul Holmes who has been leading the organization of this day long geek camp since it’s inception.
WordCamps are a global community of gatherings organized by business people, designers, developers and all those using the WordPress open source content management system that we are big users of in our work.
WordCamps are an important part of the WordPress movement that now accounts for an estimated 25% of all websites in North America. WordCamps are a great, if sometimes inconsistent, place to learn, connect and be part of the the values and benefits of using WordPress for your business or organization. Get a sense of the vibe.
